Q2 2024 Performance of Top iOS Match 3 Games in the US

Sensor Tower's latest analysis of the iOS Match 3 games category reveals notable trends in user engagement and downloads during the second quarter of 2024. Here's a closer look at how the top 5 games fared in the US market.

Candy Crush Saga from King maintained a strong performance with revenues peaking at $17M in the week of April 22nd before experiencing a dip to $2M towards the end of June. Downloads remained above 900K throughout the quarter, with a high of 1.08M in late April. Weekly active users showed a consistent trend, staying around the 12M mark.

Toon Blast, developed by Peak Games, showed no revenue for most of the quarter, except for a brief appearance at $2K in early May. Downloads saw a gradual increase, with a peak of 26K in mid-May, while weekly active users hovered between 565K and 625K.

Dream Games' Royal Match did not generate revenue except for a slight $1K in early June. Downloads started strong at 1.02M but saw a decline to 638K by the end of the quarter. Nonetheless, weekly active users grew, reaching a high of 9.93M by the end of May.

Gardenscapes by Playrix had no recorded revenue for the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable spike to 303K in late May. Active users showed an upward trend in late May, with a peak of 2.58M in early June.

Lastly, King's Farm Heroes Saga also did not report any revenue. The game's downloads varied, reaching a peak of 75K in early June, while active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at 869K.
